Vo svojej tvorbe pracuje na hraniciach medzi umením a vonkajším svetom, skúma veci a procesy a ich vzťah k určitému miestu.

Kladie otázky o ich identite a význame a pokúša sa preskúmať vzťahy, ktoré si k nim vytvára. Jej prístup je silne konceptuálny a pre svoje idey sa snaží nájsť primerané estetické riešenia. Dorota Kenderováv Galérii Plusmínusnula predstavuje súbor diel pod pracovným názvom World is hOURS. Výstava vznikla spôsobom vlastným Kenderovej uvažovaniu nad galerijným priestorom kde sa fyzické predpoklady, mentálny kontext miesta, mesta, krajiny, vesmíru stávajú katalyzátorom jej tvorby. “Každej novej realizácii Doroty Kenderovej predchádza mnoho analyzovania, spochybňovania, sebaspytovania, osobného / zvnútorneného výskumu a hľadania autentického odrazu myšlienok. V roku 2007 ukončila magisterské štúdium na Katedre maľby a v roku 2012 získala doktorský titul na Katedre Intermédií a multimédií VŠVU Bratislava. Zúčastnila sa mnohých domácich a zahraničných výstav, v roku 2005 sa stala laureátkou Ceny Essl Award. Žije a pracuje v Bratislave a v Košiciach
Dorota Kenderová / World is hOURS
Dorota Kenderová presents, in Plusmínusnula Gallery, a collection of artworks carrying the name World in hOURS. The exhibition was created in a manner and worldview that is specific to Kenderová, where the gallery itself, the physical predispositions, the mental context of the place, city, country and universe become a catalyst for her creation. “Each new ceation by Dorota Kenderová first goes through a great deal of analysis, doubt, self-questioning, personal and internal research and searching for authentic reflection of thoughts. Each time beginning from the ground zero’’. (Lucia Gavulová) Dorota Kenderová (1981) artist, co-creator and director of Gallery Hit. In the year 2007, she has finished her master’s degree at the Department of painting and in the year 2012 she received a doctorate at the Department og Intermedia and Multimedia VŠVU Bratislava. In her creation, she works on the edge between art and the outside world, explores the objects and processes and their bond to a given place. She questions the object’s identity and purpose; and tries to explore the bonds she establishes with them. The approach she chooses is strongly conceptual and she always tries to find appropriate aesthetic solution for her ideas. Dorota has partaken in many native and foreign exhibitions and in the year 2005 she became a laurate of Essl Award. She currently lives and works in Bratislava and Košice.
